Come stand with Lynne Stewart!

Noted human rights attorney Lynne Stewart will be sentenced on Monday October 16. The U.S. government has singled her out because of her legal defense work for Omar Abdel Rahman and for her life-long commitment to civil liberties. The prosecution is asking for a sentence of 30 years on false charges. This is an obvious attempt by the U.S. government to silence dissent, curtail vigorous defense lawyers, and install fear in those who would fight against the U.S. government's racism, seek to help Arabs and Muslims being prosecuted for free speech, and defend the rights of all oppressed people.

Join us at this critical time to stand with Lynne Stewart. Thursday's program will be a night of music, polticial discussion, and solidarity. Come out and let Lynne Stewart know that we support her.
